Balneario Chinchorro
"Chinchorro" es el nombre de
un artefacto de pesca consistente en una red que se tira al mar y luego
se recoge desde la costa. La larga playa del mismo nombre fue durante
años usada por pescadores de este tipo (hoy prohibido) debido
a que se interna hasta muy adentro en el mar con baja altura. Es posible
entrar de pie varias decenas de metros en esta playa larga y de olas
suaves.
El Balneario de Chinchorro está
equipado con heladerías, pubs y la disco Soho que está
en su entrada, también tiene una amplia zona de juegos infantiles,
apart hotel y un muelle que se interna hacia el mar para los amantes
de la pesca.
Esta playa es
también usada para navegar en motos de agua y windsurf mientras
que los niños usualmente vienen con bodyboard para deslizarse
en las orillas
Chinchorro
is the archeological name of a fishing art form, where a big net is
cast from the coast . The long beach with the same name was the scene
of this art of fishing from the most ancient times, because you can
easily walk far out into the sea there. (today illegal)
Chinchorro beach is well equipped with restaurants, ice cream stores,
pubs and the disco Soho at the entrance to the beach. There is also
an ample playground for children, apart hotel and a peasants dock special
for the fishing lovers.
This beach is also widely used for Jet Ski drivers, windsurfers, and
children with bodyboards.
